<p><strong>Location: </strong>Flexible / Global (with travel as required)</p> <p><strong>Employment type: </strong>Contract</p> <p><strong>Duration: </strong>6 months</p> <p><strong>Reports To: &nbsp;</strong>Manager, Talent Acquisition</p> <p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p> <p>The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and seeing through hiring of top talent across a global portfolio of mining operations, including exploration, construction, and production. This role is integral in supporting business growth by delivering high-quality candidates for technical, operational, and corporate roles in diverse and often remote locations.</p> <p>The ideal candidate brings strong experience in mining or heavy industry recruitment, a proactive sourcing mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.</p> <p>The TAP will continue building on and extending internal client relationships through high-touch relationship management, customer focus and responsiveness.&nbsp; The TAP is a subject matter expert on the applicant tracking systems, candidate sourcing methodologies and recruitment process effectiveness.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with hiring managers across multiple regions to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies</li> <li>Manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles including mining engineers (underground/open pit), geologists and technical services professionals, operations, maintenance, and processing personnel, project and construction teams, and corporate and support functions</li> <li>Source candidates through a variety of channels including direct sourcing, industry networks, job boards, and job fairs</li> <li>Build and maintain a global talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill roles</li> <li>Facilitate recruitment intake meetings and set expectations for recruitment process</li> <li>Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate technical and cultural fit</li> <li>Coordinate and support international hiring processes, including relocation, secondments and mobilization</li> <li>Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle</li> <li>Track and report on recruitment metrics, market trends, and talent availability</li> <li>Support employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the mining industry</li> <li>Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal hiring policies across jurisdictions</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably within mining, natural resources, or heavy industry</li> <li>5+ years of client facing experience interacting with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process</li> <li>5+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include market mapping, recruitment strategies, AI tools and Boolean searches</li> <li>Demonstrated experience recruiting for technical and operational roles in remote or international locations</li> <li>Strong understanding of mining disciplines and organizational structures</li> <li>Experience working in a global or multi-site environment</li> <li>Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g. Greenhouse) and sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter)</li> <li>High school diploma</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li> <li>Proactive sourcing and headhunting capability</li> <li>High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities</li> <li>Cultural awareness and ability to work across diverse regions</li> <li>Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Willingness to travel internationally to site locations and industry events as required</li> <li>Ability to work across multiple time zones</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Opportunity to work with a globally recognized mining organization</li> <li>Exposure to international projects and operations</li> <li>Competitive compensation for a 6-month contract period</li> <li>Career development and progression opportunities</li> <li>Dynamic and collaborative work environment</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div><strong><span data-olk-copy-source="MailCompose">Pay Range And Compensation Package</span></strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.</div> <p>&nbsp;</p>
