About the Role

We are building a real-time AI automation platform that powers websocket-driven experiences, scalable APIs, and configurable automation workflows.

You will work on backend architecture, AWS infrastructure, realtime communication systems, CI/CD pipelines, and asynchronous processing systems that power the platform.

This role requires strong backend engineering fundamentals with exposure to cloud deployment, event-driven systems, and real-time architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend architecture for APIs, realtime services, and background jobs
• Develop and maintain secure REST APIs and webhook handlers
• Build and scale WebSocket services for low-latency communication
• Work on AWS infrastructure deployment (EC2/ECS, ALB, Route53, ACM, S3, CloudWatch)
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
• Design database schemas for configurations, sessions, logs, and audit data
• Develop worker queues and background processing systems
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security

Required Skills

• 2+ years experience in Python backend development
• Experience with FastAPI, asyncio, or similar async frameworks
• Experience building WebSocket or realtime communication systems
• Basic understanding of AWS infrastructure and deployments
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Strong understanding of API design and authentication mechanisms
• Knowledge of database schema design (SQL or NoSQL)
• Experience with queue systems or async workers (Celery, RQ, SQS, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Nginx, TLS/WSS, and reverse proxies
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with Redis, caching, or event-driven systems
• Experience integrating AI / LLM APIs
