Field Engineer in Service /Electrician

Job Description (JD) Field Technical Installer / Field Engineer (GPS Installation)

• Should have basic knowledge of using a Multi-meter and understanding vehicle wiring such as earth/ground, ignition, and power connections.
• Must have a smartphone and a bike for field travel. Basic knowledge of operating a laptop is preferred (laptop is not mandatory).
• Should be familiar with the use of basic installation tools such as pliers, screwdriver set, wire cutter, drill machine, insulation tape, and other electrical tools.
• Responsible for installation, testing, and troubleshooting of GPS devices in vehicles such as cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles.
• Should be able to diagnose and resolve installation or technical issues at the customer site.
• Must update installation reports, photos, and job status through the company mobile application/portal.
• Responsible for attending service complaints and resolving them within the defined TAT.
• Should ensure proper device fitting, wiring safety, and quality standards during installation.
• Ready to travel or temporarily relocate for project work depending on site requirements (for example, short-term assignments of 5 10 days or as required further if needed).
• Should have basic communication skills in Hindi and/or English. Knowledge of Punjabi will be an added advantage.
• Must be flexible to work during day or night shifts depending on customer installatioxn schedules or urgent service requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining tools, installation materials, and device safety while working in the field.
• Should coordinate with the service team, operations team, and customers for smooth installation and service activities.
• Must follow company guidelines, safety standards, and reporting procedures while performing field work.
