As an Investment Management Associate in Bengaluru, your role will involve collaborating closely with ABF Deal Analysts to assist in investment management and monitoring activities for structured finance deals. Your responsibilities will include supporting the deal team in updating Investment Committee approval memos, analyzing closing documents, performing pre-deal due diligence using Python, updating surveillance data, developing cashflow models, creating asset-level one-pagers for collateral analysis, tracking revaluation events, updating sector-level presentations, monitoring covenants and KPIs, undertaking ad hoc projects, ensuring compliance with investor requirements, and leveraging advanced tools for analysis and data visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with ABF Deal Analysts to assist in investment management and monitoring activities.
- Support the deal team in updating Investment Committee approval memos.
- Analyze closing documents and set up processes for analyzing and monitoring deals post-closing.
- Perform pre-deal due diligence using Python to assess risk and investment potential.
- Update surveillance data and create one-pagers for presentations to senior management.
- Develop and update cashflow models for structured finance deals.
- Create and update asset-level one-pagers for collateral analysis.
- Track and review revaluation events for underlying assets.
- Update monthly sector-level presentations and pro-actively highlight potential issues.
- Continuously monitor covenants and KPIs at the deal level.
- Undertake ad hoc projects as requested by senior management.
- Ensure compliance with investor requirements.
- Leverage advanced tools for in-depth analysis and data visualization.
Qualifications Required:
- MBA in Finance, CFA, or CA qualification.
- Experience in analyzing Asset Backed Finance deal structures and collateral is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to summarize complex information succinctly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a high sense of ownership.
- Thorough understanding of basic financial concepts and the ability to implement them critically.
