Assembly Technician

Are you detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and enjoy hands-on work? We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our growing production team. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Whether working with tools, troubleshooting issues, or ensuring the quality of finished products, our Assembly Technicians are essential to producing high-quality goods and contributing to the efficiency of the production line.

• Constructing mechanical/controls items in an industrial facility
• Full line assembly – start/finish
• Participates in continual process improvement
• Responsible for the safe use of basic shop tools and equipment
• Responsible for keeping the work area clean and orderly
• Follows all quality processes and procedures as established
• Must be able to sit or stand and lift to 50 pounds infrequently
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor

Your profile

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade Degree, or equivalent experience
• One year of basic mechanical assembly or related experience preferred
• Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to lead team projects and work within team projects
• Problem-Solving – Able to investigate root cause and suggest workable solutions
• Deductive Reasoning – Ability to apply general rules to problems to produce sensible answers
• Ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence credibly at all levels
• Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
