Job Description

Technical Specialist-Data Engg

Area(s) of responsibility

We are looking for an experienced Informatica PowerCenter Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ETL development, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting data integration solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter
  • Analyze source data and implement data transformation logic as per business requirements
  • Write and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages, performance tuning)
  • Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for job automation, scheduling, and monitoring
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and error handling
  • Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA adherence
  • Work closely with business analysts, DBAs, and downstream application teams
  • Prepare technical design documents and support production deployments
