Job Summary

The Banquet Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through banquet and event sales by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of events. The role involves coordinating with internal departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for banquet events, corporate meetings, weddings, and social functions
• Handle client inquiries, prepare proposals, and close sales deals
• Conduct site visits and client meetings to showcase banquet facilities
• Coordinate with operations, kitchen, and service teams to ensure smooth event execution
• Prepare event orders (BEOs) and communicate requirements to all departments
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and vendors
• Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities
• Handle billing, contracts, and post-event follow-ups for feedback and repeat business
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in banquet sales or event sales
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
• Valuable knowledge of banquet operations and event planning
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales/reporting tools
