Vacancy for Art & Pottery Teacher - Middle School (India)

We are looking for a passionate and creative Art Teacher for Middle School who can inspire students through visual arts and hands-on creative experiences. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in drawing, painting, and pottery, and should be able to guide students in exploring artistic techniques while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons for middle school students in line with the school curriculum.
• Teach various art forms such as drawing, painting, sketching, and craft.
• Conduct pottery sessions, introducing students to clay modelling, basic pottery techniques, and ceramic art.
• Encourage creativity, imagination, and artistic expression among students.
• Organize art displays, exhibitions, and school art events.
• Maintain and manage art studio materials, tools, and equipment, including pottery supplies.
• Ensure a protected and inspiring classroom environment for practical art activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers for integrated learning projects and school events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Art Education (BFA preferred).
• Certification or experience in Pottery / Ceramic Art will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 2–4 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Experience conducting pottery or clay modelling workshops with students.

Skills Required

• Strong artistic and creative abilities.
• Knowledge of pottery techniques and clay handling.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate middle school students.
• Organizational and planning skills.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
