Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to support the end to-end taxation and accounting function of our real estate / construction group. The role involves hands-on execution of Income Tax, GST, TDS, monthly book closure, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must have strong working knowledge of the construction and real estate industry, including its unique tax implications such as project-wise accounting, input tax credit on works contracts, TDS on property transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Income Tax & TDS Compliance

• Handle day-to-day Income Tax matters including TDS/TCS deduction, deposit, and filing of returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 26QB, etc.).
• Ensure timely issuance and reconciliation of Form 16A/16B/26AS.

GST Compliance

• Manage GST compliance for multiple registration
• Handle Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation, e-invoicing, and e-way bill compliance.

Accounting & Book Closure

• Perform monthly reconciliation (bank, creditors, debtors, inter-company, GST, TDS).
• Execute monthly closure of books in Tally Prime / ERP.
• Conduct accounts checking, ledger scrutiny, and voucher verification.
• Assist in preparation of MIS reports and financial reporting to management.

Auditor Support & Statutory Compliance

• Actively participate in addressing Statutory Auditor, Internal Auditor, and Tax Auditor queries.
• Support finalization of financial statements and coordination during audit.

Regulatory Updates & Process Improvement

• Continuously monitor and update the team on latest amendments in Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other relevant laws.
• Implement process improvements and maintain documentation for internal controls and audit trails.
