Role & responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of OPD, IPD, Emergency, OT, and support services
- Ensure seamless coordination between departments
- Monitor operational efficiency and service quality
- Staff Management
- Supervise medical, paramedical, and administrative staff
- Ensure duty rosters, attendance, and discipline
- Coordinate with HR for hiring, training, and performance management
- Patient Care & Experience
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety
- Resolve patient complaints and improve satisfaction levels
- Monitor feedback and implement corrective actions
- Financial Management
- Monitor billing, collections, and expenses
- Ensure cost control and optimal resource utilization
- Coordinate with accounts for audits and financial reporting
- NABH Compliance & Quality Management
- Ensure implementation of NABH standards across all departments
- Maintain NABH documentation, policies, SOPs, and records
- Conduct internal audits and prepare for NABH accreditation
- Train staff on quality standards, infection control, and patient safety
- Ensure compliance with quality indicators and continuous improvement
- Regulatory & Government Portal Management
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements
- Handle and manage government portals such as:
- ESIC Portal
- CGHS / RGHS Portals
- Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY)
- Labour Law portals (PF, ESI, etc.)
- Ensure timely submission of reports, claims, and documentation
- Coordinate with government authorities for inspections and approvals
- Inventory & Facility Management
- Monitor stock levels of medicines and consumables
- Ensure proper maintenance of hospital equipment and infrastructure
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
- Coordination & Communication
- Act as a link between management, doctors, and staff
- Conduct regular meetings and submit reports
- Coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, and external agencies
- Policy Implementation
- Implement hospital policies and SOPs effectively
- Ensure compliance across all departments
- Update policies as per regulatory and operational needs
- Emergency & Risk Management
- Handle emergencies and crisis situations
- Ensure disaster management and infection control protocols
- Maintain safety standards (fire, biomedical waste, etc.)
- Business Development
- Plan strategies to increase patient footfall and revenue
- Build relationships with consultants, corporates, and referral sources
- Promote hospital services and branding
