Foundation Teacher (Grades 6–8 Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics)

Role Overview The Foundation Teacher for Grades 6–8 is responsible for building strong conceptual understanding in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Mathematics. The role focuses on developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and preparing students for higher academic levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics for Grades 6–8
• Simplify complex concepts using real-life examples, activities, and experiments
• Develop lesson plans aligned with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum
• Conduct regular assessments, tests, and assignments to track student progress
• Provide individual attention and support to students with different learning needs
• Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific temperament
• Use interactive teaching methods (visual aids, models, digital tools, etc.)
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance
• Prepare students for school exams, olympiads, and foundation-level competitive exams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science / Mathematics / Education (B.Sc., B.Ed. preferred)
• Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics
• Prior teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory for freshers)
• Good communication and classroom management skills

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
