Food and Beverage Server/Bartender

Job Title: Server/Bartender – Full/Part Time

Job Summary: A Server works as the central resource to our restaurant operations. Their responsibilities revolve around the service of our guests with genuine hospitality, speed, and accuracy. This individual will greet customers, take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas. This position has the unique opportunity to guide the guest through their entire dining experience and is integral to our clubs success.

Job Duties

· Greetings to guests, takes orders, and serves food and beverage offerings in accordance with established restaurant standards.

· Provides friendly, quality, and genuine hospitality to each guest.

· Demonstrates knowledge of both food and beverage menus and offerings, including dietary and allergen guidelines.

· Practices safe food and beverage practices, following company and health department standards.

· Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.

· Receives payment in cash or credit card, and accurately counts and provides change for guests, when applicable.

· Clear and clean tables, as well as restocks utensils, plates, food, and condiments throughout shifts.

· Follows sanitation standards to clean and maintain the restaurant/deck/washroom area.

· Performs shift opening/closing/side work duties as assigned.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Required Certification: (Smart Serve Ontario (required) Safe Food Handler Certificate (optional)

· Must be available to work nights and weekends

· High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

· At leasted 6 months of previous serving experience (Preferred)

• Must be able to manage a large number of tables and/or large groups while maintaining timely and freindly service

· Basic math skills

· Ability to present a professional image, including cleanliness and appearance standards

· Innate desire to provide the very best guest experience

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Casual

Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
