Node.js Developer - Backend Development

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-end development, a deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks, and the ability to create efficient and scalable server-side applications.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and web services.- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.- Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.- Debug and resolve application issues and production bugs.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement them as needed.Key Skills and Requirements : - 5 Years of experience in back-end development with a strong focus on Node.js.- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern development practices.- Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.- Strong understanding of database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.- Experience with version control systems like Git.- Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB for designing, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable back-end applications.- Experienced in implementing AWS security best practices using IAM, and knowledgeable in networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, and load balancers.- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Docker-based containerization is considered a strong asset, contributing to streamlined development and deployment processes.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Knowledge of WebSocket, GraphQL, or microservices architecture.Benefits : - 5 Days Working- Paid leaves- Strong Learning curve- Modern Stack (ref: hirist.tech)
