Job Description

As a detail-oriented QA Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing test cases and meticulously documenting test results.
  • Reporting and tracking defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Collaborating with developers and other team members to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Conducting manual testing of web applications, including functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Writing and maintaining test cases based on project requirements.
  • Actively participating in daily stand-ups and team meetings.

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Strong analytical and logical skills to strategize testing for new applications.
  • Relevant work experience in manual testing of web applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automated testing using Selenium or an alternate automation tool like Mabl.
  • Good understanding of web and mobile-based projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Ideally, experience with the Linux environment.

In addition to the technical skills mentioned above, you should have expertise in basic testing knowledge, test case design, bug reporting, automation tools, web technologies, database testing, version control, and strong communication skills.
