At Bell, tech product managers like you lead products that impact how our customers connect, work, learn and play. As a member of this multi-skilled team, you will partner with other like-minded professionals to lead exceptional customer experiences through cost-effective project delivery.
You'll accelerate the pace of development, manage innovative and emerging product lines, drive product lifecycle management, use case development, business adoption, and more. You'll bring the unique, best-in-class competitive benchmarking, analysis and business planning perspectives to the team that only you can offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the product strategy and roadmap for multiple products or significant product lines.
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with overall company objectives.
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders, users, and market research, translating them into actionable product specifications.
- Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, technical feasibility, and user needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Ensure that products meet defined quality standards, including functionality, performance, usability, and security.
- Proactively communicate product status, progress, and roadblocks to stakeholders, managing expectations effectively.
- Work with the development team to resolve issues, ensuring products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage product budgets and resource allocation.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities and threats.
- Contribute to the overall product strategy and vision of the company.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical product management role, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing multiple products.
- Advanced knowledge of a specific technical domain [Specify the domain, e.g., cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity].
- Advanced understanding of product management principles and practices, including Agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from diverse sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced business acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specific tools or technologies relevant to the company's products [Specify tools, e.g., Jira, Confluence, specific programming languages].
- Experience with A/B testing and data analysis.
- MBA or related advanced degree.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
