Experienced Newscast Anchor and Journalist

This role requires anchoring the 11:30 pm newscast and occasionally other time slots. You will be responsible for the production and writing of news stories, ensuring quality and timely broadcasts. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential for meeting tight deadlines and working with little supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the 11:30 pm newscast
• Anchor additional news broadcasts as needed
• Create and develop engaging story concepts
• Write and produce segments for air
• Promote the organization at community functions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of anchoring experience
• Post-secondary education in Journalism or Broadcasting
• Familiarity with production terminology and equipment
• Experience with iNews and Gateway systems
• French language proficiency for roles in Quebec
