Clinical Pharmacist - Emergency Department (India)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
• Provide real-time drug information and clinical support to doctors and nursing staff
• Ensure timely dispensing of emergency medications
• Monitor patient drug therapy and recommend necessary modifications
• Participate in emergency cases such as trauma, cardiac arrest, poisoning, etc.
• Maintain and manage crash cart medications and emergency drug stock
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of medications
• Monitor high-risk medications and ensure patient safety
• Document clinical interventions and pharmacy activities
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship programs
• Report adverse drug reactions (ADR) and medication errors
• Educate patients and caregivers when required
• Shift Pattern:
• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (Day/Evening/Night)
