Your Opportunity
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer on BeGig, you’ll work on freelance projects focused on building and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. You’ll help teams automate deployments, improve system reliability, and enable faster product delivery—without the constraints of a traditional full-time role.
What You’ll Do
- Design and manage
cloud infrastructure
for scalable applications
- Build and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
for automated deployments
- Implement
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability
- Implement logging, alerting, and incident response practices
- Improve deployment speed and infrastructure scalability
- Ensure security best practices across cloud environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline development and release processes
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in
cloud platforms
such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Hands-on experience with
CI/CD tools
(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with
Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Proficiency with
Infrastructure as Code
tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Familiarity with Linux systems and networking fundamentals
- Experience managing scalable, production-grade infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills
- A self-driven freelancer who can independently manage cloud infrastructure projects
