Forklift Operator / Heavy Machinery Operator #1030

A province‑wide recognized social economy enterprise, our client is currently seeking to expand the team at its **Levis sorting centre**. We are looking for a **Heavy Machinery Operator** for the **day shift**. The selected candidate will be responsible for safely operating various mobile equipment and contributing to the smooth execution of production operations.

• *Key Responsibilities**

\- Safely operate mobile equipment (wheel loader, skid steer/bobcat, forklift).

\- Perform visual inspections of equipment according to established procedures.

\- Assist, when required, with minor maintenance work alongside the maintenance team.

\- Clean separators on the production line.

\- Participate, as needed, in sorting activities and quality control on conveyor belts.

\- Strictly comply with all health and safety standards.

\- Perform all other related duties.

• *Requirements**

\- High school diploma (an asset).

\- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (preferred).

\- Forklift experience (preferred).

\- Valid driver’s licence (required).

\- Strong interest in manual work and machinery.

\- Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and team spirit.

• *Salary : $21.93 per hour**, with the possibility of a higher rate depending on experience.
• *Schedule** Monday to Thursday: **7 a.m. to 4 p.m.** and Friday: **7 a.m. to 12 p.m.**
• *Status: Temporary to permanent** after **4 months**.
