PostgreSQL / Oracle DBA Professional

As a Postgres and Oracle DBA expert with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Demonstrating excellent knowledge of Database Administration and a strong understanding of SQL.
• Having a general understanding of the design and development of applications that access PostgreSQL/Oracle.
• Possessing good knowledge of any programming languages, databases drivers, APIs with Postman, and troubleshooting issues.
• Demonstrating strong backup and restore skills (pg_dump, rman, physical backup tools), database performance tuning, SQL Query tuning and development, Replication (Goldengate), and Failover experience.
• Collaborating with data architects to design conceptual data models and data flows, as well as implementing data strategies and creating physical data models.
• Being proficient in scripting and task automation using SQL, Bash, Python, and Git.
• Understanding database security, authentication models, and data encryption.
• Effectively communicating and collaborating with application development teams.
• Having knowledge of other RDBMS (SQL Server or DB2) or any NoSQL database (Couchbase or Mongo) is preferred.

Qualifications required for this position include:
