The Manager – MICE Contracting will lead supplier contracting, negotiations, and sales enablement for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) programs. This role is critical in ensuring competitive agreements, supporting client-facing teams, and driving revenue growth through strategic supplier partnerships and seamless program delivery.
Contracting & Supplier Management
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with hotels, venues, airlines, and Destination Management Companies (DMCs).
- Establish and maintain preferred supplier agreements to optimize cost savings and service quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Sales Support & Client Engagement
- Partner with sales teams to prepare proposals, pricing strategies, and customized solutions for corporate clients.
- Support RFP responses with accurate contracting data and competitive pricing.
- Provide consultative input on destinations, venue sourcing, and program feasibility.
Program Delivery Support
- Collaborate with operations teams to align contracted services with program requirements.
- Track attrition, cancellation policies, and deposit schedules to mitigate financial risks.
- Assist in budget preparation, reconciliation, and final billing coordination.
Market Development & Strategy
- Identify new business opportunities within the MICE segment and contribute to overall sales growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine contracting and sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry forums, trade shows, and supplier meetings.
