Responsibilities

• Provide expert hair styling, coloring, and grooming services including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application.
• Perform advanced barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves and precision haircuts.
• Deliver personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments or products.
• Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software like MINDBODY, ensuring a seamless scheduling experience.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and salon policies.
• Mentor and train junior stylists and team members in technical skills, customer service excellence, and retail sales strategies.
• Upsell retail products effectively through retail math techniques to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Assist with store management duties including front desk operations, inventory control, and store merchandising.
• Stay current with industry trends in hair theory, color techniques, and new styling tools such as the latest in hair threading or specialized tools.
• Foster a welcoming environment by providing outstanding customer service that builds lasting client relationships.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with proven experience as a stylist or master stylist in a professional setting.
• Extensive knowledge of hair theory, color application, sanitation practices, and current styling trends.
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Skilled in advanced techniques including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and the use of straight razors.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members while providing clear recommendations.
• Experience in retail sales with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with mentoring experience preferred; store management experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules.
