As a Manager, Threat Analysts at Barracuda, you will play a crucial role in protecting our customers by detecting, gathering, and evaluating email security threats. Your responsibilities will include investigating proactive strategies for countering cyber-attacks, prioritizing and delegating tasks, as well as hiring and nurturing a high-performing Analyst team. You will collaborate with the Machine Learning Engineering and Data teams to understand data models and algorithms for email security, ensuring effective communication and training within the team. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing technical documentation and standard operating procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and consistent workflows.
Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, along with 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specializing in email security and incident response. You should have 3-4 years of experience in managing and mentoring security analysts, strong knowledge of cyber threats and email protocols, expertise in email security technologies, and proficiency in Python automation. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills are essential for this role.
