JOB DESCRIPTION
The Process Analyst works within the Organizational Development (OD) team to lead process building and refinement efforts in alignment with organizational goals. OD partners closely with leaders across the business to improve processes, strengthen performance, and support operational consistency across our operations. This role blends structured problem-solving with hands-on collaboration. You’ll contribute to important improvement initiatives while building your skills in Lean principles, data analysis, and change implementation—working alongside experienced team members and operational leaders.
This position reports to the Organizational Development Manager and functions as “owner” of multiple projects as assigned. This is a fast paced, collaborative, and highly varied position. Please note that this is not an IT position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the analysis and improvement of end-to-end business processes.
- Gather and analyze data to help identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to problem-solving efforts by helping structure analyses and develop insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design practical, scalable process improvements.
- Assist in coordinating implementation efforts, working with site and functional teams to test and roll out changes.
- Participate in workshops, working sessions, and continuous improvement events (e.g., Kaizen).
- Help translate process improvements into clear documentation, standard work, and training materials.
- Track performance metrics and support reporting on initiative progress and outcomes.
- Prepare presentations and summaries to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide project management support to stakeholders and internal improvement teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing analytical support in evaluating and quantifying current state processes, sequences, workflows, and outputs.
- Develops current state maps including relevant process metrics and handoffs.
- Works independently and in collaboration with subject matter experts during process projects to observe and document processes, investigate needs and issues, and gather data as projects are implemented.
- Assists in the identification of new process development opportunities within existing processes and workflows during the strategy phase of process projects.
- Reviews existing documentation and works with the Technical Writer to update procedures and process documentation based on project requirements.
- Analyzes and monitors output of revised systems to provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders on impact/results of changes.
- Owns the creation, update, and maintenance efforts of SOPs, policies, communication, and visual aids in support of assigned process development projects.
- Provides stakeholder coaching and guidance related to Lean principles, strategic problem solving, and issues arising while the project is active.
THIS POSITION IS A GOOD FIT IF THE FOLLOWING RESONATES WITH YOU:
EXPERIENCE
- Preferred: Work (internship okay) applying Lean Manufacturing principles and concepts in an industrial or corporate environment.
- 2+ years working with Asana or similar project management software
- 1+ years facilitating project groups OR working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to work within change management protocols to build buy-in and engagement among diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability using process mapping software tool such as Lucidchart, SmartDraw, Whimsical or similar to create robust flowcharts and process maps
- Proven ability to use Google Suite proficiently

- Ability to comprehend key concepts in order to gather data within complex technical and/or industrial settings

- Ability to facilitate issue exploration, creative problem solving, and team implementation efforts
- Ability to debate pros/cons confidently and assertively while maintaining flexibility and a humble attitude
- Ability to accept candid feedback and work within an atmosphere of continuous improvement
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Strong drive and sense of personal responsibility
- Comfortable working within a highly varied, changing environment
NICE TO HAVES:
- College-level coursework in business administration, operations, or management
- Analytical skills and ability to resolve conflicting needs within a system or a group of stakeholders
- Enjoy building processes, building efficiencies, and achieving goals in collaboration with others
- Experience leading project teams in any context including positions of leadership within volunteer or charitable organizations
- Familiarity with sales and/or marketing concepts and processes

- Feel uncomfortable juggling a wide variety of tasks, learning new systems in order to improve them, or exploring complex topics with stakeholders
- Uncomfortable leading discussions or resolving project related challenges
- Prefer short term projects over longer initiatives with multiple milestones
- Prefer not to collaborate openly with colleagues in an iterative environment

COMPENSATION
- Starting at $60,000-70,000/year + yearly profit sharing
