As the Regional Custom Clearance Business Manager, your role involves overall responsibility for the performance of the regional custom clearance business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Increasing the customer base and market share
- Working with the sales team to meet management-set targets
- Developing new areas of business for brokerage to increase gross margin
- Meeting customer requirements for smooth clearance as per agreed SOP
- Ensuring effective clearance of shipments in accordance with Customs laws & procedures
- Increasing cash flow by controlling accounts receivable collection
- Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
- Conducting regular CRM and meeting global KPIs
- Maintaining good relationships with custom officers
- Ensuring compliance with ISO and healthcare logistics cGxP guidelines, including WHO-GDP guidelines
- Complying with ISO and healthcare industry's local, national, and international standards and legislations
- Implementing, communicating, and maintaining ISO and healthcare logistics cGxP quality guidelines
- Conducting required initial and continuing personnel training and evaluating processes and procedures regularly
- Managing implementation of changes and executing change control
- Managing CAPAs, deviation reporting, and change control effectively
- Supporting internal and external quality audits
- Ensuring HWL ISO and healthcare quality objectives/KPIs are met
