Job Requirements:
- Assist project managers with schedule planning, setting tasks, and monitoring the execution of project timelines, working in machine-based operations with precise engineering drawings and complex data.
- Identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate timely intervention.
- Prepare, key in, edit and proofread reports and related material.
- Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail, purchase orders, and other material and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments.
- Order machine shop supplies and maintain material inventory.
- Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages.
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
- Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to appropriate person.
- May compile data, statistics, and other information to support research activities.
- May supervise and train office staff in procedures and in use of current software.
- Prepare project progress, efficiency, and performance evaluation reports.
- Drive continuous improvement to support high performance and quality standards.
- Maintain positive working relationships in managing expectations of stakeholders at all levels.
- Adhere to and maintains safe work practices, including WHMIS 2015 requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- MUST RESIDE IN PROVINCE OF ONTARIO and have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available).
- Early Shift (7am) start time.
This vacant role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak). Epicor experience an asset.
