You are joining Azista Space, a pioneering company in the aerospace sector that is revolutionizing space accessibility. With India's first private-sector satellite mass-production facility in Ahmedabad, Azista Space is dedicated to bridging the gap between complex engineering and high-volume manufacturing, providing end-to-end solutions for satellite design, advanced payloads, mission management, and communication systems. By democratizing space exploration, Azista Space is at the forefront of powering the next generation of orbital missions.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • **Technical Leadership:** You will architect end-to-end spacecraft systems, define requirements, conduct trade studies, and optimize budgets using MBSE tools like Cameo and SysML.
  • **Design & Integration:** Overseeing ICDs, CONOPS, and V&V plans, you will lead subsystem integration with COTS/RTG hybrid architectures.
  • **Testing & Verification:** You will champion AIT/HIL/SIL campaigns, environmental qualifications, and LEOP commissioning following ECSS/ISO standards.
  • **Risk & Reliability:** Conducting FMECA/FMEA, devising FDIR strategies, and resolving anomalies to ensure 99.9% on-orbit reliability.
  • **Documentation & Stakeholder Mgmt:** You will author compliance matrices, design reports, and engage with executives, customers (DoD/ISRO), and IR&D proposals.
  • **Team Leadership:** You will mentor a team of 10+ engineers, drive bid wins, and promote agile cross-functional collaboration.
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • Minimum 8 years of satellite systems engineering experience with managerial responsibility in flight heritage programs.
  • Proven expertise in spacecraft design, integration, and subsystem management (Bus/Payload/C&DH).
  • Proficiency in system modelling (MBSE/SysML), simulation (STK/MATLAB), and requirements/configuration management (DOORS/Jama).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving customer requirements in fast-paced NewSpace environments.
  • Strong understanding of FMECA/FMEA, FDIR principles, environmental tests, and AIT processes (HIL/SIL/ECSS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
