We have offices in Montreal (Quebec), Austin (Texas) and Nicosia (Cyprus).  *A select number of positions require full-time in office attendance*  The Business Intelligence Analyst acts as a subject-matter expert, leveraging data to define, develop, and communicate product strategy to clients, and senior leadership.  As a member of a growing team, this role requires comfort with ambiguity, the ability to independently identify opportunities, and a strong sense of ownership. You will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on data, as well as recommending data-driven strategies to our product teams.    What you'll be doing:  <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Use data and build models to help solve problems using analytical and/or numerical methodologies</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Explore databases to leverage relevant information to optimize processes, identify areas of improvement and build strategy</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Understand complex payment flow, define use cases to optimize current solutions</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Look for patterns, inconsistencies, and areas of potential optimization</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Communicate and understand client requests to help understand performance, and develop data solutions</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Create custom reports for management to help aid in their day-to-day and give them the power to make informed and data-driven decisions</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work with our partners to prioritize and deliver important milestones and deliverables</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Develop and maintain the ability to communicate complex data issues to various teams including product managers, engineers, and upper management</li> </ul> What you'll need to be successful: Must haves:  <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">2+ years of experience in a similar analytical role</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Bachelors in Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or other analytical field (or relevant work experience)</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, and SQL; Comfortable reasoning with abstract data requiring recursive or layered logic across tables</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency with at least one visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience in data modeling, client management, analytics, and business savviness</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with at least one analytical tool like Python or R</li> </ul> Nice to Haves:  <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">More advanced knowledge of Python and/or development concepts</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">E-commerce and/or Payment Processing experience</li> </ul>   As an equal opportunity employer, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees In this role you may be exposed to adult content
