Job Description
The Associate Sales Manager in Branch Banking will be responsible for driving sales through branch networks and maintaining relationships with clients. The primary focus will be to achieve sales targets, train and mentor branch staff, and ensure that customers receive exceptional service. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, analyzing market trends, and fostering a culture of high performance within the team. The Associate Sales Manager will collaborate closely with branch managers to identify opportunities for growth and enhance product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales performance of life insurance products through the branch network.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Train, mentor, and motivate branch sales staff to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Regularly review sales metrics and prepare performance reports for management.
- Collaborate with branch management to enhance product offerings and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Leadership skills to inspire and guide a sales team effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Understanding of financial products, particularly life insurance, and market dynamics.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in sales management or branch banking is preferred.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and financial markets will be an advantage.
