Job Description

Axiom Pro is a US-based recruiting and outstaffing company. We’re hiring a Senior .NET Full-Stack Engineer for our international partner. This position is for an on-site engineer who can take ownership of complex enterprise applications, balance hands-on delivery with technical decision-making, and help the team maintain strong engineering standards.Our partner builds data-intensive products in a regulated environment, where stability, security, and clear processes matter.

Responsibilities

Take features from requirements through implementation, release, and ongoing maintenance/support across the full SDLC.

Build and maintain web solutions in ASP.NET and VB.NET, working with MySQL as the primary datastore.

Make and drive architecture/design decisions for enterprise systems to keep them scalable and maintainable.

Provide recommendations on the technology stack and evaluate new/emerging tools based on business value.

Define and run a practical testing approach: unit testing, integration/system testing, and UAT, including proper documentation.

Mentor the in-house engineering team and contribute technical guidance and day-to-day engineering leadership.

Handle advanced database ownership areas (DBA-type work): performance tuning, monitoring, and operational reliability.

Work closely with BAs, stakeholders, and engineers to convert business expectations into clear technical solutions.

Deliver cross-platform mobile development for iOS and Android when required.

Introduce and operationalize AI-assisted development tooling in the team workflow to raise productivity and code quality (e.g., AI code generation/completion tools such as GitHub Copilot / Claude Code; AI-assisted testing & debugging; ML integration support).

Run code reviews and reinforce consistent development standards.

Support delivery planning: estimates, resource allocation, and coordination of development work.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience with proven technical leadership.

5–7 years of development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior and/or leadership capacity.

Technical Expertise:

Strong experience with ASP.NET + VB.NET and modern engineering practices.

Entity Framework, .NET Core, Web API, Angular.

Practical experience with AI tools in engineering workflows: AI-assisted coding, automated testing/debugging support, and ML model integration.

Enterprise database experience with MySQL and Oracle (architecture and optimization).

Solid SQL: stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.

DBA fundamentals: backups, disaster recovery, query optimization, and monitoring.

Reporting tools: Crystal Reports and/or Business Objects.

Strong SDLC understanding and ability to adjust methodology to the needs of a given project.

Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.

Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks.

Understanding of enterprise security best practices and compliance expectations.

Leadership & Strategic Skills:

Experience supporting or leading teams of 3+ engineers, mentoring, and developing junior developers.

Ability to assess options and recommend technology solutions aligned with business requirements.

Project management capability (estimation, resource planning, risk management).

Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Highly Preferred:

Experience in healthcare environments and familiarity with HIPAA.

Automation and robotics integration experience.

Agile/Scrum certification plus real implementation experience.

DevOps practices: containerization and infrastructure as code.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
