Job Description
Axiever is a Canadian SaaS company on a mission to transform small and medium-sized enterprises into fully digital businesses through one integrated, affordable, and powerful platform.
We build the complete digital infrastructure that growing trading, distribution, and service companies need with AI, RPA and digital solution all natively integrated, cloud-hosted, and priced for SMEs.
The Opportunity for You
This is a rare early-stage opportunity - open specifically to candidates based in India. You will be the first operations hire at a fast-growing international SaaS company - working directly with the CEO in Canada, building internal systems from scratch, and leaving your mark on how Axiever operates across five geographies. As the company scales from its first live client to 100+ active accounts, your role grows with it.
This is not a back-office role. You will be at the center of everything - coordinating between product development (India), implementation, sales and finance.
For the right person, this is a career-defining move. You get international exposure, a direct line to a CEO building a global business, compensation bench-marked to the top of the Indian market for this profile, and stock options that give you a real stake in what you help build.
What You Will Do
▸ Own the Execution Plan
- Maintain the company-wide implementation master plan - a live, week-by-week tracker of every milestone across product, sales, BU setup, hiring, and client delivery
- Run the weekly all-hands operations meeting - prepare the agenda, capture all decisions and action items, assign clear owners and deadlines, and publish a written summary within 24 hours
- Follow up relentlessly on every open action item - no task goes untracked, no deadline passes without an update or an escalation
- Flag risks and delays to the CEO as soon as they appear - with a clear description and at least one proposed resolution
- Maintain a rolling 90-day milestone calendar, updated weekly and shared with all function leads
▸ Build and Document Processes
- Document and maintain internal operating procedures - on-boarding checklists, BU reporting templates, partner agreement processes, and hiring approval workflows
- Build the company's internal knowledge base so that processes are written down and not locked in people's heads
- Identify recurring problems and fix them systematically - create a process so the same issue does not happen twice
- Ensure each BU follows the agreed reporting cadence - monthly P&L, pipeline updates, client counts, and remittance reconciliation
▸ Support Administration and Governance
- Maintain the company document library - BU agreements, partner contracts, employment contracts, and authority matrices - kept current and organized
- Track Series A use-of-funds spend against the approved allocation - flagging any overspend immediately
- Manage coordination with external service providers - legal, accounting, and compliance advisors - tracking information requests and deadlines
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- 3–6 years of experience in operations, project management, or business coordination - ideally in a startup, SaaS, or multi-location business
- Exceptional organizational skills - you track everything, forget nothing, and follow up without being asked
- Strong written communication - you can write a clear action-item summary, a concise status update, and a professional email without supervision
- Comfortable working across multiple time zones and cultures - you will be coordinating with teams in Canada, India, UAE, and Africa daily
- Proficient with project management and collaboration tools - Asana, Monday, ClickUp, or similar; able to build and maintain trackers from scratch
- Calm under pressure - things move fast in an early-stage company; you stay steady, focused, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable working across time zones - you will be coordinating with Canada (EST), UAE, and Africa daily, which requires flexibility in your working hours
- Fluent written and spoken English - all internal communication, reporting, and CEO interaction is in English
- High degree of autonomy - you do not need to be told what to do twice; you own your responsibilities fully
