Position Summary/Objective:
The Catalog Data Specialist is essential for populating our client websites with products, imagery, and data to help drive customer interaction and transactions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- N/A
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Populating new products into our database
- Ensuring that images, specs, product info, and manuals are accurate and meet AVB Marketing’s standards
- Translating from English to French and French to English
- Auditing product data to ensure integrity and quality
- Developing an understanding of product features, history, design method, and other characteristics by researching manufacturer websites, catalogs, and assets
- Updating products on live websites
- Stepping up for special projects as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Fluent in English and French REQUIRED
- Must be able to speak, write and read in both French and English
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with Excel experience
- Ability to consistently meet project deadlines
- Ability to multi-task on various projects
- Ability work in a team as well as independently
- Excellent communication, project management, and organization skills
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
NOTE: This full-time position will work with AVB as an Employee of Record through Deel Canada Services, Inc. Deel will provide the selected candidate with an Employment Agreement and will be responsible for the processing of payroll, benefits, and any discretionary incentive plans. Benefits are provided through Deel and include health insurance, paid vacation time and 15 paid Holidays. The position will report directly to an AVB Manager and will be subject to all AVB policies and procedures. The working hours are 40 hours per week based on an 8-hour working day from Monday to Friday.
