At the corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD we are currently seeking to add to the team a motivated and skilled Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technician.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Electrical/Mechanical assembly of small high precision instruments
- Assembly Integration of Optical and Mechanical systems
- High quality soldering of PCB, crimping of small connectors
- Work closely with the group on new product’s assembly and calibration processes
- Responsible for daily production activities and work different products as required
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and other requirements:
- High school diploma or associate degree from a technical institute
- Basic knowledge of using measuring instruments and mechanical tools
- Wiring, soldering and crimping of small wires inside the instrument with limited access
- Detail-oriented with fine motor skills to handle the intricacies of the products
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
