Position Summary
The SPSA is seeking an organized, results‑oriented, team player for the permanent position of Quality Assurance Auditor, in the Air Operations branch in La Ronge. The position will report to the Director, Safety & Assistant Operations Manager. The Quality Assurance Auditor will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Monitoring all operational activities to ensure they are conducted at specified intervals and in accordance with applicable instructions and standards.
- Performing internal and external quality audits that meet all regulatory Air Operations requirements.
- Maintaining technical awareness of all aspects of the companys maintenance activities and recommending for implementation, technical and procedural changes to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance.
- Overseeing, maintaining, and improving the companys quality assurance program and verifying that procedures in use are functional and efficient.
- Reporting ongoing activities to Management and keeping the company continuous improvement efforts on track.
Qualifications
- Clearly and concisely performing quality assurance audits to ensure that the branch meets regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Providing information to internal and external organizations and/or individuals to ensure compliance with policies, programs and legislation.
- Providing, obtaining, and/or exchanging clear and accurate information in both formal and informal settings to Air Operations Management and Executive.
- Articulating and conveying innovative messages to the branch.
