Part-Time Addiction Worker

Join the Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc. as a Permanent Part-Time Addiction Worker in Prince Albert. Engage with clients and implement treatment plans every weekend with a focus on care and support.

This permanent part-time role requires supervising clients and facilitating their daily activities every Saturday and Sunday. You will work closely under the guidance of Addictions Counsellors, delivering client treatment plans while ensuring emotional and spiritual needs are met. Your responsibilities will include clerical tasks, crisis intervention, and monitoring client progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise clients' daily household duties
• Implement treatment plans under counsellor guidance
• Transport clients to appointments
• Maintain records of client activities
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions

Requirements

• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• 7-11 months of related experience
• Valid First Aid/CPR and Food Handling Certifications
• Vulnerable sector check and criminal record check
• Clean driver’s abstract
