Job Description
Lead HR initiatives as a Human Resources Business Partner in agriculture. Focus on recruitment, employee relations, and workforce planning across multiple locations.
You will support over 80 employees and managers in southern Saskatchewan by providing strategic HR guidance and support. The role involves close collaboration with an off-site HR team as well as on-site visits to maintain strong relationships and ensure effective HR practices. Expect to travel quarterly to agricultural locations as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster relationships with on-site employees and leaders
- Conduct training and orientation for new hires
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies
- Provide meaningful employee relations support
- Enhance performance management and talent development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-5+ years of HR experience
- Experience in the agriculture sector is preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a home office
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is beneficial
- Willingness to learn about the agriculture industry
