Application Information

The Business Development Coordinator provides operational coordination and administrative support to the Business Development team by assisting with lead tracking, bid coordination, and client servicing throughout the sales cycle. This role works closely with internal teams, industry partners, and national and international clients to ensure sales activities, logistics, and reporting are organized, accurate, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including lead activity, proposals, and client communications
  • Track sales leads, opportunities, and follow-ups to support pipeline development
  • Assist with bid coordination including timelines, partner engagement, and submission materials
  • Support the planning and execution of site visits, familiarization tours (FAMs), and industry events
  • Conduct research and qualification of potential business event opportunities
  • Coordinate with partners including venues, hotels, service providers, and conference committees
  • Assist with client hosting, itineraries, transportation logistics, and event support
  • Support contact list development and outreach initiatives to grow the sales pipeline
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations, proposals, and supporting materials
  • Contribute to sales reporting and pipeline tracking

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales or event coordination is considered an asset.
