Position: Full-Time Addictions Counsellor Role

Location: La Ronge

Make a difference in clients' lives as a Full-Time Addictions Counsellor. Utilize various recovery modalities to support those facing addiction issues in a collaborative team setting.

In this permanent role, you will focus on enhancing client recovery through tailored addiction programs. A diploma in Addictions Counselling is necessary, though equivalent qualifications may be accepted. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing therapeutic practices, and participating in holistic treatments related to addiction and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design individualized recovery plans for clients
• Screen for symptoms related to addiction
• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals
• Implement strategies based on the Developmental Model of Recovery
• Facilitate group sessions using dynamic approaches

Requirements

• Diploma in Addictions Counselling mandatory
• Holder of a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Strong problem-solving abilities required
• Familiarity with mental health strategies essential
• Understanding of addiction treatment models needed
