Our mission is to streamline freight brokerage, carrier management, and 3PL operations through automation, freeing teams to focus on high-value strategic work.Overview As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll work across the stack to build and ship product experiences end-to-end — from customer-facing UI to backend systems and APIs that power Augment’s AI-enabled workflows.You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering to deliver reliable, scalable features that solve real operational challenges. This role is ideal for someone who loves ownership, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to build systems that have real-world impact.What You’ll Do Build AI-powered product experiences by designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining full stack softwareBuild high-quality, performant user interfaces using React and TypeScriptDesign, build, and evolve backend services and REST APIs using Node.js + TypeScriptOwn features end-to-end — from product requirements and design discussions to architecture, implementation, testing, and monitoringWork with large datasets and workflow-heavy systems to support core logistics operationsImprove reliability and observability across the stack, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and documentationCollaborate closely with Product and Design to create intuitive user workflows and great UXPartner with AI and backend engineers to integrate AI interactions into the product in a pragmatic, production-ready wayContribute actively to code reviews, design reviews, documentation, and engineering rituals that help us scale What We’re Looking For BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of experience in software engineering or a related roleStrong full stack experience, with deep comfort in TypeScript + Node.jsProduction experience building modern web apps using React + TypeScriptExperience building and evolving REST APIs and backend servicesStrong engineering fundamentals: debugging, architecture, and systems thinkingYou verify your work through thorough unit tests and end-to-end testingExperience shipping production software with full instrumentation: deployment, logging, monitoring, and documentationComfortable breaking down ambiguous product requirements into clear technical tasksStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetExcited to work hybrid and help build a high-energy, collaborative engineering hub Bonus Points For Experience at high-growth startups or early-stage teamsFamiliarity with Redux (or similar state-management libraries)Experience building workflow-heavy products (complex forms, real-time UI updates, admin dashboards, ops tools)Experience integrating AI-powered features into product experiencesExperience with distributed systems or event-driven architecturesStrong product intuition and UX sensibility Our Stack We build independent service-oriented architectures composed of:Backend: Node, TypeScript, MySQL RDS, SQS, SNSFrontend: React, ReduxInfrastructure: AWS Why Join Us?
