The Role

A technical, hands-on role where you will:

• Design, train, fine-tune, and deploy ML models for operational challenges.
• Own full lifecycle workflows: data exploration, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring.
• Build scalable data pipelines for structured, unstructured, imagery, geospatial, sensor, and text datasets.
• Develop robust training and inference systems optimized for performance, latency, and edge deployment.
• Integrate models into production-grade systems with testing, observability, and CI/CD.
• Prototype and benchmark new modeling approaches, including LLMs and multimodal architectures.
• Conduct rapid experimentation to improve performance, resilience, and mission impact.

The Essential Requirements

• BS in Computer Science.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ML principles (evaluation, optimization, bias/variance).
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and/or Hugging Face.
• Experience handling real-world datasets: cleaning, feature engineering, experimentation, analysis.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance and willing to travel up to 15%.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Masters in CS/ML or related field
• Experience with edge-deployable or offline ML systems.
• Expertise in latency optimization, distributed training, or large-scale data processing
• Exposure to geospatial, multimodal, reasoning, or containerized/orchestrated systems.
