Lead PHP Developer

Responsibilities

• First and foremost, we are looking for someone with strong technical chops and a proven track record on our tech stack
• Beyond those skills, we are also looking for someone who can take technical ownership of a projects

o Plan, architect and implement new features following best practices.

o Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and promote continuous improvement practices.

o Collaborate with product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions.

o Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.

o Maintain and update documentation

o Ensure the SDLC processes and release flow are followed

o Work closely with Product Owners to discuss long term plans

o A team player who can keep an eye on the big picture

o Collaborate with other teams to ensure that we deliver quality software

o Mentor developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a full stack developer.
• Proficiency in one or more of PHP, React
• PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Docker
• AWS
• Gitlab CI/CD (a plus)
• Experience in developing and using service APIs
• Nice to have Wordpress experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Industry recognized certification in testing practices and Agile certifications are plus.
