Role Overview:

You will be joining as an IT Service Desk Technician in our team, where you will be responsible for providing remote technical support and assistance to end-users across the organization. Your role will involve addressing basic software and account related issues like password troubleshooting, bitlocker recovery, and o365 tools to ensure smooth operation of systems and deliver exceptional customer service. Your strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a remote support environment will be crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote technical support and assistance to end-users through various channels (phone, email, chat) by addressing basic software and account related issues.
  • Respond to incoming support requests ensuring timely and accurate resolution that align with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate support teams or senior analysts for further investigation and resolution.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for IT account provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Stay updated with the organization's IT policies, procedures, and technologies for effective support delivery.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT Service Desk or Technical Support role, preferably in a remote support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT fundamentals including hardware, operating systems (MAC, Windows 10, 11), networking, and productivity software like PDF software and Office 365.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • Experience working with IT Service Management practices.
  • Willingness to work in different shifts to provide 24/7 support if required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
