As an Apparel Production Supervisor, your role involves overseeing daily garment production operations to ensure a smooth workflow from cutting to finishing. Your primary focus will be on achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, managing workers, and ensuring timely order completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise daily production activities including cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing
• Ensure production targets are met as per the schedule
• Monitor line efficiency and implement measures to improve productivity
• Allocate work to operators based on skill and requirement

Quality Control:

• Ensure that garments meet the required quality standards at every stage of production
• Identify defects such as stitching, fitting, and finishing, and take corrective action
• Coordinate with the QC team to maintain export-level quality

Team Handling:

• Manage tailors, helpers, and ironing staff effectively
• Provide training to workers on correct methods and continuously improve their skill levels
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and a positive work culture on the production floor

Order Execution:

• Ensure a proper understanding of tech packs, measurements, and specifications
• Collaborate with the design/merchandising team for clarifications
• Monitor order progress and ensure on-time delivery

Material & Workflow Management:

• Ensure the proper usage of fabric, trims, and accessories to minimize wastage and control production costs
• Maintain a smooth flow between cutting, stitching, and finishing processes

Reporting & Coordination:

• Maintain daily production reports and status updates
• Coordinate with accounts, logistics, and management teams
• Proactively highlight any delays, issues, or bottlenecks

Compliance & Maintenance:

• Ensure workplace safety and hygiene standards are met
• Maintain machines and report any breakdowns promptly
• Adhere to company policies and SOPs

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of garment production processes
• Understanding of patterns, stitching techniques, and finishing
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate workers
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Basic reporting and communication skills

Experience Required:

• 37 years of experience in garment production or factory supervision
• Experience in shirts, trousers, or similar categories is preferred

Salary Range:

• 18,000 30,000 per month (based on experience) + incentives
