6 month contract with high probability of extension

Remote work okay, but must be able to work in the Atlantic Time Zone The Role: We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft ERP Technical Analyst to work on a team supporting our client's PeopleSoft ERP systems. In this role, you will provide essential day-to-day technical support, including on-call duties as part of small technical team.

You will be instrumental in fostering strong collaboration between our technical experts and the client's technical and functional teams, ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of their PeopleSoft environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive day-to-day support for client's PeopleSoft ERP systems, including scheduled on-call rotations.
  • Lead and mentor a small technical team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with client's technical and functional teams to address issues, implement solutions, and drive project success.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues across various PeopleSoft modules.
  • Manage change control processes and contribute to the application of patches and upgrades using PeopleSoft PUM.
  • Identify opportunities for and recommend improvements to current PeopleSoft processes.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with:
  • PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 (Student Records, Student Finance, Campus Community).
  • PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 (Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Management).
  • PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 (Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing).
  • Strong technical skills in PeopleTools 8.59 or higher, including PeopleCode, Integration Broker (web-services, SOAP, WSDL), App Engine, and Fluid development.
  • Experience with Peoplesoft application upgrades and tools, the PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) application and/or Change Assistant
  • SQL (Microsoft SQL preferred).
  • Proven experience with PeopleSoft PUM, including applying patches and upgrades.
  • Solid experience in technical support, troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Experience working with change control processes and familiarity with the ITIL framework.
  • Experience working within a Windows environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements collaboratively with business stakeholders.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient in prioritizing individual work, meeting deadlines, and forecasting efforts with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to acquire new knowledge and skills quickly and independently.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently.
  • A proven ability to work well with others and develop/maintain productive business relationships.
  • Capability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and work under pressure.
