Job Description
Key Responsibilities- To Manage the Kerala Cluster - Procurement.
1. Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement cluster-level procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Forecast demand and plan procurement activities for multiple units.
- Drive standardization of products and services across the cluster.
2. Vendor Management & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA adherence.
3. End-to-End Procurement Operations
- Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle:
- Requirement gathering
- RFQ/RFP process
- Vendor selection
- Purchase order issuance
- Delivery tracking
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid operational disruptions.
4. Cost Optimization & Budget Control
- Manage procurement budgets across the cluster.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering initiatives.
- Conduct spend analysis and optimize sourcing strategies.
5. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and approvals.
- Ensure ethical procurement practices.
6. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
- Collaborate with inventory and store teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Monitor material consumption trends and improve planning accuracy.
7. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage procurement teams across multiple units.
- Set performance goals and KPIs for team members.
- Provide training, mentoring, and development opportunities.
8. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, clinical/technical teams).
- Ensure procurement aligns with operational and project requirements.

Qualifications
