High School Science Instructor with Chemistry Emphasis

Now hiring a part-time High School Science Teacher, primarily focused on Chemistry, beginning August 2026. Additional teaching in Biology and Mathematics is expected.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid British Columbia teaching certificate and a commitment to Christian Education principles. This role fosters a classroom that encourages scientific exploration while upholding faith values. Strong English communication skills are required for effective student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics
• Create engaging lesson plans and assessments
• Uphold and support Christian education guidelines
• Collaborate on curriculum that aligns with IB standards
• Facilitate student participation in science investigations

Requirements

• Must have a British Columbia teaching certificate
• Commitment to Pentecostal/Charismatic values required
• Experience with IB Science teaching preferred
• Strong English language proficiency needed
• Passion for empowering students through science education
