Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Application Support Analyst, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Application Support Analyst will provide technical support for applications, analyze and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot software and system problems, and work closely with teams to ensure the smooth functioning of IT operations. The role also includes ongoing communication with stakeholders to address and resolve user inquiries efficiently. • Provide timely resolution of functional and technical issues and escalate incidents through the appropriate chain of command • Support Sales, Traders, and Front and Middle Office users within the FIC (Fixed Income, Forex and Credit) department • Troubleshoot functional issues in a complex, multi-application financial environment across regional and global architectures • Operate effectively in a multi-tasking, high-pressure, and time-sensitive environment • Manage crisis situations with clear communication to end users and senior management • Provide functional and technical expertise to deliver maintainable, high-quality solutions • Document system requirements and maintain support run books • Communicate with users regarding application outages, releases, and project-related events • Liaise with development and support teams in Bangalore, New York, Montreal, Paris, and London • Respond to end users within severity-based SLAs, documenting and tracking cases, issues, and action steps • Adhere to internal IT norms, standards, and processes • Provide timely reporting on production and project status to business and IT management • Deliver effective oral and written communication tailored to various audiences and seniority levels • Partner with development teams in New York and Paris as part of a DevOps model • Collaborate with development teams on release management activities • Work with global support teams in Paris and Asia to ensure consistent, high-quality user support • Manage and maintain strong client relationships with the end-user community • Support trade capture and post-trade applications processing straight-through electronic trades • Work with systems interacting with Bloomberg, Tradeweb, BrokerTec, Trad-X, MarketAxess, direct client connectivity, and voice trading platforms • Gain exposure to electronic trading execution, order management, market depth aggregation, and regulatory reporting • Support applications deployed across Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo Profile • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse functions and stakeholders • Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to quickly learn new systems and products • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with strong prioritization skills • Experience with Fixed Income financial products and trading system environments • Team-oriented, client-focused, and open to different ideas and perspectives • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in time-sensitive environments • Competency in SQL • Knowledge of client/server applications • Comfort working in Windows and Unix environments • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel • Bilingual proficiency in French and English Nice to have
