You’ll become a <strong>system‑level expert</strong> on new products, playing a critical role in design, testing, and early customer adoption.</p> <p>This is a highly hands‑on, customer‑facing role ideal for engineers who love solving complex problems, working with new technology, and seeing their work come to life in real fabs around the world. <strong>Domestic and international travel (25–75%)</strong> is expected and varies by product lifecycle.</p> <hr> <h3>&nbsp;</h3> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with <strong>Hardware, Electrical, Controls, Process, and Software Engineering teams</strong> to become the system‑level expert on newly developed products</li> <li>Influence product design by representing the <strong>voice of the customer</strong>, including design‑for‑service, design‑for‑manufacturability, and preventive maintenance considerations</li> <li>Own the <strong>first build and test</strong> of new products in the development lab, providing real‑time feedback, identifying issues, and recommending solutions</li> <li>Develop and document <strong>best‑known methods</strong> for service, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance</li> <li>Lead <strong>First‑in‑Fab (Alpha and Beta) customer deployments</strong>, including fab readiness, installation, startup, and production qualification</li> <li>Drive resolution of customer issues during Alpha and Beta phases, acting as the primary technical owner for new product performance in the field</li> <li>Produce detailed reporting on field issues to support continuous product improvement</li> <li>Define <strong>critical spare parts lists</strong> and ensure initial stocking levels are ready for new product launches</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>&nbsp;</h3> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in <strong>Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering</strong></li> <li>Hands‑on experience (academic or professional) with <strong>hardware systems</strong></li> <li>Strong <strong>technical troubleshooting</strong> and problem‑solving skills</li> <li>High curiosity, motivation, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies</li> <li>A passion for working with <strong>new products</strong>, testing them, and becoming a true system‑level expert</li> <li>Coursework or interest in <strong>Arduino or open‑source electronic prototyping platforms</strong> is a plus</li> <li>Willingness and ability to travel <strong>25–75% domestically and internationally</strong></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Apply today to be part of what’s next.</strong></p> <p>We make the tech that enables the chips in devices which improve lives around the world.
