Assata’s Hair & Extensions is growing, and we are looking for passionate, talented, and driven individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking skilled Braiders, Locticians, and Junior or Senior Black Hair Stylists who are dedicated to their craft and committed to providing high-quality service in a professional and welcoming salon environment.
This is an opportunity to build your clientele, showcase your creativity, and grow within a luxury, fast-growing salon.
Duties
Provide professional hair services such as braiding, loc services, styling, treatments, and more based on client needs
- Deliver exceptional customer service by consulting with clients and recommending styles and products
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace at all times
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
- Promote and recommend hair care products and services
- Support daily salon operations when needed (appointments, client flow, etc.)
- Stay up to date with current trends, techniques, and styles
Qualifications
Experience in braiding, locs, or hairstyling (junior and experienced stylists welcome)
- Strong passion for hair and beauty
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and salon standards
- Willingness to grow, learn, and build your clientele
- Certification or license (if applicable) is an asset
