Job Description
Aspire for Higher (A4H) is a Canadian nonprofit dedicated to youth development, workforce readiness, and economic empowerment. Our vision is a social inclusion framework where people can develop, learn, work, and play in spaces that are responsive and supportive of their needs.
We are seeking an energetic and socially-savvy TikTok Video Editor and Content Creator to manage content production for one of our business partnerships in the laundry industry. In this role, you'll own the full content pipeline, from receiving raw footage all the way to publishing and community engagement. If you're someone who thrives on creativity, takes initiative, and understands how to build a brand on social media, we want to hear from you.
This is a full-time remote position, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Receive and edit raw video footage into polished, engaging TikTok content
- Manage consistent posting to TikTok as the primary platform, with supplementary posting to Instagram
- Write on-brand captions and select effective hashtags to maximize reach and discoverability
- Monitor comments and respond in a timely, friendly, and professional manner that reflects the brand's voice
- Repost relevant content and actively engage with the community to grow account presence
- Stay on top of TikTok and Instagram trends to ensure content remains current and relevant
- Work independently to manage a content calendar, scheduling, and posting deadlines
- Report on basic performance metrics and bring forward suggestions for content improvement
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience editing and posting TikTok content (profile or portfolio link required)
- Comfortable with Instagram posting and basic community engagement
- Proficiency in TikTok editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or equivalent)
- Strong creative eye and instinct for what performs well on social media
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines without close supervision
- Excellent written communication skills with a warm, professional community-facing tone
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
- Access to your own phone or editing device
